Elegant Wooden Self-Catering Glamping Huts
Enjoy a unique glamping experience in our cosy, bespoke huts, perfectly positioned to offer breathtaking panoramic views across Bassenthwaite Lake. Our luxurious huts popped up in 2020, offering you an ideal hideaway to kick back after a day of Lakes adventures. They’re like your own snug little spot, where you can unwind and recharge after a bustling day in the Lakes.
Due to the elevated position of the farm, the panoramic views are in abundance with Bassenthwaite Lake to the front, Ullock Pike and Skiddaw to the rear. In keeping with the location and the great Lake District outdoors, the huts are named after the fells in which they fall in front of.
Each hut is equipped with the high-end amenities, ensuring the utmost comfort and sophistication. Enjoy a seamless blend of indoor luxury and outdoor adventure, with the chance to connect with nature and gaze at the starry night skies.
Our huts offer versatile accommodations: Dodd fits up to 4 guests with a double bed and a sofa bed, while the Carl Side and Long Side accommodate up to 6 guests (4 adults and 2 children) with a double bed, a sofa bed, and two single bunks.

What’s included
Making you feel at home
Accommodates for 2 to 6 Guests: Bedding and towels provided for a hassle-free stay.
Ensuite Bathroom: Private bathroom with a power shower and toilet.
Fully Equipped Kitchenette: Includes a hob, microwave, fridge, and kettle.
Outdoor Features: Fire pit, BBQ and outdoor dining facilities.
Modern Amenities: Freeview TV and reliable 4G signal.
Climate Control: Underfloor heating and premium insulation to ensure year-round comfort.
Sleeping Arrangements: Double bed with either a sofa bed or bunk beds, depending on the hut.
Welcome Pack: Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, butter, jam, and 2 toilet rolls to get you started.
Important information
A 2-night minimum stay is required for all bookings. Single-night stays are occasionally available and will be posted on our social media at the start of each month.
Enjoy a 10% discount on bookings of 7 nights or more.
A £100 deposit secures your reservation.
Manage your booking and pay the remaining balance online through our booking portal. The final payment is due on the day of arrival.
On your arrival day, you’ll receive an email with a 4-digit passcode to access the keys.
The Huts are a self-catered unit, so no breakfast or housekeeping is supplied.
Terms and Conditions
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel free of charge until 30 days prior to the arrival date. If cancelled within 30 days of the arrival date you will be charged the total price of the reservation. Similarly, if you don’t show up, you will be charged the total price of the reservation.
Breakages
Any damages or breakages during your stay will be chargeable unless otherwise agreed with proprietor.
Pets
Up to 2 pets allowed. We kindly request that you bring your own bed or blanket for your furry friend’s comfort. To maintain a clean and pleasant environment for all guests, we kindly ask that pets refrain from using the furniture.
No Smoking
No smoking is permitted in the area of the huts or around the farm. You may smoke at the front of the house near the bus stop, but no ashtrays will be provided.

These are only applicable to those staying in The Huts. Each hut has a BBQ and Fire Pit available to use to FREE OF CHARGE. If you should wish to use the BBQ or Fire Pit during your stay, you can purchase a range of additional extras shown below (see prices and packs):
- Fire Pit Full Package (bag of logs, bag of kindling & box of firelighters) – £15.00 each
- Fire Pit & BBQ Full Package (Fire Pit Full Package and a bag of coal) – £20 each
- Bag of Logs – £6.00 each

- Bag of Kindling – £5.00 each
- Box of Firelighters – £4.00 each

Flower Package: Receive a beautiful bouquet of flowers, tailored to your preferences. This package is available for £35.00.
Birthday Package: Enjoy helium-filled balloons, foil number balloons, and a bottle of prosecco to toast your special day. This package is priced at £30.00.
Anniversary Package: Celebrate with helium-filled love heart balloons and a bottle of prosecco. This package costs £30.00.
Special Occasion Package: For any celebration that doesn’t fit the standard categories, we can create a custom balloon and prosecco package to suit your needs. This package is also £30.00.
